Hi Bob, I had a good time crossing the Mighty Mac 9-17-10 on my tractor, do you know of anyone that is selling pictures of the tractors in the parade?
 Thanks Rick

We caught the 2010 Mackinaw City antique tractor parade and bridge crossing by chance while driving back from Wisconsin via the UP.  It was something to see....850 tractors. Couldn't stay for Saturday night's semi-truck parade at dusk.

Would you please put my email address down for the 2011 event as I'd like to put that date on my calendar and also get a room reservation early.  Rooms were not plentiful on Thursday night in Mackinaw City when we just happened to be staying on our way back home  to Traverse City, MI.

The people in town attending the event were very nice and informative.  We thoroughly enjoyed the tractor event and sad that we couldn't have stayed around for Saturday's events and saw the semis arriving at dusk.

Bob,

Thank you for an awesome experience. Don & I could not get over how much work, cooperation and organization went into this event.  Don was very ill ALL of 2009 and we did absolutely nothing, but hospital, doctor, physical therapy, home health care, etc. etc.  He is a little better this year and it seems he has been trying to complete his bucket list, the Mackinaw Parade being one of those things.  He did it amid much worry and with the help of some of his club members and other club members.  We have been in a lot of summer & winter parades in other years, and this huge event was so much better organized than anything we have ever experienced.

Thank you again.  You are appreciated more than you know.  Get some rest.

It would be nice if there was a central storage spot where folks could post their photos and videos.  Is there such a place other than YouTube?

Good Afternoon Bob,

I thought the show was the best so far and am looking forward to many more tractor shows!

If we can be of any future assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hi,
my husband and I were leaving St. Ignace fro home way down state and
say the parade.  We stopped to watch and take pictures for a friend of
mine who has a tractor and likes them. I am wondering if the parade
has some reason other than fun, maybe a farmers union? What a cool
thing to watch!
Thanks,
Julie

Bob,

Thank you for another successful Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor Crossing!!  I am sure that none of us fully appreciate the hours of work that go in to this event.

This was the 2nd year that my Father participated, on his Super MTA International tractor.  His grandson did all the ‘leg work’ and all Grandpa had to do was ‘get in the seat and drive.  This year, however, his grandson was right in front of him on his Ford Ferguson.

Dad said that this year ‘was the best’.  Even though we were worried about the cooler temps and chance of rain, the ride was warmer and faster.

Thank you for the memories!!  Looking forward to the pictures that will be posted!

The 2010 Bridge crossing was wonderful!  You did a terrific job organizing everything.  It seemed to run very smoothly.
