Early torque
converter
D35012
Twin Disc 6-F-1108.

This torque has a 12 bolt steel -ring gear that bolts right to the torque
converter. No inner teeth on the ring gear. The
outer teeth go inside the flywheel.
The flywheel has teeth inside as well as the outer starter flywheel
ring gear. Outer torque converter ring gear measures 12 ¼” outside diameter.
This torque uses Flywheel part number A36594.
Flywheel is the same for torque D35012 and
torque converter D45565. You can
convert the D35012 Torque to D52422 late style.
Middle torque

Use’s a fiber-ring gear.
The fiber ring has teeth inside and
out. It connects the inside
teeth to a 10 ¼ ring gear on the front of the torque converter and the outer
teeth on the fiber gear go inside the flywheel A36594.
Twin Disc manufactured this torque.
You can sub this torque to the D52422 as long as you change the
flywheel A39213, 6 outer bolts part number 28-520, 4 inner bolts part number
121-300 and 4 washers part number
A30013. Flywheel A36594 can be
used on either D35012 torque
converter and D45565 torque converter.
Late torque
converter
D52422

Late style uses a flex steel plate
D52483, no ring gear. Use flywheel
A39213 for this torque. This torque converter has 6 outer bolts and 4 inner
bolts to support the flex plate.
