Restoration Project John Deere MT 1950

This beauty is owned by Fred Knoop in Laingsburg, Michigan.

Fred allowed us the opportunity to restore his old friend he discovered in Oakley, Michigan at the MMOGTA, Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association Show in 2006.

This tractor got a complete engine overhaul .045 overbore kit. All main parts came from Owosso Tractor Parts, every seal and gasket replaced in the transmission and final drives, a new complete radiator, new front grills, battery box and side panel. Otherwise she is original in every way except for the muffler, no one can last 57 years without something going bad, can they?  Oh well that's a question for the experts. And we can't forget to mention a complete great looking paint job.
